During your trip, you’ll receive a specific emergency number from the local tour leader. In addition, you can call our main office line from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 5 PM (GMT+1). Please note, however, that you won’t reach your personal travel expert on this number. For that, we ask you to send us a message (see above) or schedule a call.

How many people can we take on this trip?

Namibia Nomads has been specially designed for groups of 2, 3, or 4 people.

If you are 3 or 4, we provide an extra rooftop tent along with camping gear (mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow), as a single rooftop tent is only spacious enough for a maximum of 2 people.

How old do you have to be to drive in Namibia?

For this trip, you must be at least 23 years old and have held a driver's license for 2 years to drive a car.

Can I customize the trip to my liking?

We offer a fully mapped road trip, so it is not possible to adjust the duration of the trip. However, you are of course free to extend your journey on your own initiative by staying a few extra days in Namibia or by traveling to another country.

If you wish to stay in a different place than the one we have reserved for you or skip certain stops to focus on others, that is absolutely possible, but you will need to take care of the booking yourself.

How does the payment process work?

Within 5 days of your registration, you will need to pay a 35% deposit to confirm your trip. After that, you have until 45 days before departure to modify your options and pay the balance. If you change your options, the deposit will be recalculated automatically.

You will also need to pay a security deposit shortly before departure. The amount of the deposit depends on the car insurance you have chosen (more information in the car insurance section).
