lodge-to-lodge: where do you sleep?
lodge-to-lodge: where do you sleep?
Your lodge-to-lodge itinerary in Namibia is a lovely mix of authentic lodges and more refined comfort. Some accommodations are simpler but offer a unique location — like in the heart of Etosha National Park. Other nights are a bit more exclusive and comfortable, like at Mountain Peak Game Lodge in Ozongaka.
Here’s an overview of the lodges during your 11-day road trip in Namibia. The exact accommodation may vary depending on the season or availability, but the itinerary and stages will remain the same. About 30 days before departure, you will receive all the details in the Travelbase app.

After the desert, it’s time for the ocean. In Walvis Bay, you'll stay in a modern accommodation with a private bathroom. Some units also have a equipped kitchenette (fridge and oven), which is handy if you want to cook your own meal. There’s an on-site restaurant, but we recommend dining at one of the great restaurants in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund instead. Breakfast is not included. However, you can grab a quick coffee at the restaurant, but since most of you will be leaving early for an activity (kayaking or a 4x4 tour), a snack/light lunch is usually provided during the excursion.
